Sandro Martini is an up and coming inter-disciplinary artist working in new media, experimental video, photography, illustration and painting. His work examines masculinity, the body, notions of other, socialisation and isolation. He uses technology to correlate personal narratives with history, mass media and computer culture.
Martini's incorporation of print, web and video production to enhance his design has attracted a wide range of institutions and clients including Victoria and Albert Museum, St Paul's Cathedral, Secession Vienna, Harrods, Central St. Martins London, British Museum, World of interiors magazine, Palazzo Barberini Museum Rome, Themes & Variations, Liberty of London, Royal Festival Hall South Bank Center, Erno Goldfinger (National Trust), National Museum of Wales, Elle magazine, The Sunday Times, Shelley von Strunckel, Dillons, Blast theory Laban Center, Joyce magazine, Granada TV, Northcliffe Publishing Group, Swan Theatre (Stratford Upon Avon), Frantic Assembly Physical Theatre.
